About Me

Shayleen: I'm the girl who changes my mind constantly. My favorite song will change every other minute, I'll bounce back and forth between a writer and an artist, one second I'll love the rain the other die for a glimpse of the sun. Enough moss and algae already! I'm a girly girl who loves pink, sparkles, mushy love songs, pretty jewelry, and soft delicate things. But at the same time climbing trees is amazing, I've always understood guys better than girls, running around barefoot all summer is totally the way to go, and I have a mortal fear of over dressing. I'm the eldest of 10 kids, been homeschooled all my life, and am a firm Christian. And Portland is my favorite place on earth. I've got many different personalities. One day I'll be "Today is the day! I'll draw the perfect picture! I'll sell 100 dollars worth of stuff on Etsy! I'll (finally) finish my book! I'll clean the house and it will stay clean for a full five minutes! (Haha yeah right. 4 little brothers is not helpful to a clean house.) Then half an hour later I'll be hiding in my room listening to Radiohead being depressed.
